The ACC Garage Concept

The owners and operators of independent multi-brand garages often work without any external support. They must meet the challenges of increasing vehicle diversity, more complex technology, a greater need for investment and more demanding customers in terms of both price and service by themselves. They compete with authorised garages that are part of a group and often have the support of powerful manufacturers.

The aim of ATR’s garage concept is to strengthen and support multi-brand garages in the entire independent automotive aftermarket. ACC is ATR’s international garage concept and is the counterpart to the German Meisterhaft, AC AUTO CHECK and autoPARTNER concepts. ACC concept partners benefit from comprehensive, competent support from the local ATR partner, the parts industry and the central ATR organisation.

ATR’s local partners support garages in developing their public image, customer service, advertising and sales promotion as well as in terms of operational organisation, equipment, training and with technical information. The support package is very flexible because no two multi-brand garages are the same. The size of a company, its location and specialisation vary widely. That is why ACC’s services are modular, allowing us to offer exactly the assistance that each individual garage requires. ACC is a full-service concept that does not limit the entrepreneurial freedom of the owner or operator.

ATR supports FIGIEFA (Fédération Internationale des Grossistes Importateurs et Exportateurs en Fournitures Automobiles), the international umbrella organisation of independent wholesalers of automotive parts, which is based in Brussels. FIGIEFA works to promote a free market for automobile replacement parts, service and repairs. That means consumers can now decide where to have their car serviced and repaired. That should be a matter of course, but unfortunately it wasn’t for a long time. All the legal requirements affecting the international sale of replacement parts by independent retailers (domestic market, competition law, technical regulations etc.) are now decided at the EU level. This is why it is important that the interests and needs of the replacement parts industry are represented at the European level and taken into account when laws are passed.

The automotive parts industry also plays a very important role in the market for replacement parts: The top brands produce original replacement parts that meet the quality standards applied to original equipment. This means that the replacement parts meet the exact requirements placed on the original part with regard to dimensions, material, weight and colour, among other things. Some of the replacement parts come from the same producers as the original part. Replacement parts often even exceed the quality standards of the original.

That offers drivers numerous advantages: Multi-brand garages can offer customers high-quality replacement parts, professional repairs and service at fair prices. And inspections and maintenance can be carried out according to manufacturer guidelines and with original replacement parts so that customers’ manufacturer warranties are not affected.

The ACC Garages

The ACC logo allows a garage to signal that it is a multi-brand garage with high quality standards.

Personal, fair, uncomplicated: ACC’s experts are professional, their knowledge is up-to-date and they offer replacement parts at competitive prices. They only use high-quality replacement parts produced by well-known manufacturers. Personal advice and individual solutions are ACC’s focus, regardless of the product or problem.

The first ACC garage opened its garage doors in 2005. Now there are several hundred garages in Romania, Hungary, Greece, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Portugal, Turkey and Brazil.

A global brand in your region!
ACC gives a garage’s existing good name a professional, international dimension and ensures that customers will continue to receive the best service at fair prices in the future.

Information about how to apply as an ACC workshops or about finding a workshop in a special region can be found under the ACC advisers.

The ACC Advisers

The garage partner will be advised by the respective ATR partner. Many years of local industry experience and regional market leadership help the partner provide the best possible support to the garage.
